Imported succulents may arrive dry, stressed, or without strong roots. The first goal is recovery, not fast growth.
Inspect the plant, remove damaged material, let wounds dry, and use a medium that encourages rooting without staying wet too long. Bright shade and airflow are safer than harsh sun at the beginning.
Water cautiously after the plant begins to settle. Give it time to adapt before treating it like an established plant.
